Kongonis likely to Get services of Tikolo.
At the end of one journey starts the other. It seems Steve Tikolo is the new kongonis cc coach; replacing Martin Suji who is currently with the Uganda national team, it is not official yet but sources confirmed that Tikolo was picked from a list of applicants.
The position was left vacant When Martin suji was appointed the Uganda National team coach drawing applications from all over the country. It is believed the club committee settled for Steve since he has no any cricket responsibility at the moment, just out of the international cricket, Steve start’s a journey I believe he will excel.
Kongonis cc described as a club that keeps Kenyan cricket alive,former Kenya skipper and all rounder is expected to work with the youngsters.
Probably the youngsters will be happy to have Steve at the club. The colts’ captain Dolla Aballa is certain, Steve presence at the club will help most colts improve not only in bating but all quarters of the game.
“Hoping he will be with us, Am happy, he will help me work on my batting and for the team it is a great actually will learn a lot from him” said Dolla.
Yesterday Tikolo was spotted at the Nairobi club, kongonis home ground, having a chat with senior kongonis members. Only later to call a colt and ask for details of the team members.
